My name is John...

The UK winter is here, with snow and temperatures of -8 degrees. I would like to be in Exantis now.

So, another year passes and we are in 2012. 2011 was quite a sad time in Exantis, with some particularly close friends passing away.

Greece, too, is going through its problems but one thing I know is the incredibly proud and strong people both in the village and the wider country will find a way, as they always have. Life goes on with hopefully better times to come this year.

I look forward to being back in Exantis on April 12.
